OUR GOALS
  1. 1
    Maintain
Proper care of our trees promotes long, healthy growth over time. Effective watering, fertilizing, and pruning all ensure that young trees grow well and mature trees remain healthy.

  2. 1
    Protect
Large, mature trees provide the greatest benefit to our ecosystem and create an appealing neighborhood aesthetic. Ensuring the long term health and stability of our older trees is essential.

  3. 3
    Plant
The 2011 Inventory found that only 48% of the available 3,049 spaces identified in the St. Johns neighborhood as suitable for street trees had a tree--a great opportunity for improvement.

  4. 4
    Educate
To promote an abundant and healthy urban forest in St. Johns, neighborhood residents will be empowered and informed of how to properly grow and care for our community trees.

  5. 5
    Connect
It takes combined collaboration of neighbors and community members working together with invested organizations together to achieve a thriving urban forest for St. Johns,
